Prof. Lee has extensive experience in automotive and product design. He was elected as the ICSID Roster of Experts in the transportation design and product design categories. Prof. Lee founded and ran his design consultancy in Hong Kong for more than 30 years, winning numerous international awards. His award winning design for the Peifan Lucky Star was the first family car designed by Chinese for the China market. Then he collaborated with partners from Hong Kong, Mainland China, as well as the renowned Italian Giugiaro Design on the widely reported MyCar project. Currently he is partnering with a number of Mainland manufacturers on some long-term projects, as well as providing strategic consultancy for several creative parks in China.

Prof. Lee was the Associate Dean of School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Emphasizing on integrating theories and practices, he also runs both the Transport Design Lab and Strategic Design Lab for a wide range of research and consultancy projects for many global corporations and brands.
